“Personal, friendly and painless car hire!”

Without a credit card I thought hiring a car in Italy would not be possible. I searched on line and found Indigo who claimed they could arrange car hire only with a debit card. Speaking to the helpful staff on the phone this was quickly and easily arranged and car insurance too! It was also relatively inexpensive!! Arriving in Pisa clutching my hire documents, identification and my debit card I waited expectantly for problems. There were none! I had expected 800 euros to be taken form my account and then returned if there was any damage. I had enough euros in cash to cover this if the debit card was refused. In fact I even added my husband for no extra cost. Always the sceptic I kept checking to see if money had been taken from my account whilst we were away and also since returning. There were no hidden costs, nothing extra to pay. I would use Indigo again with their partner car hire firm in Italy,Sicily by Car. After a few days of getting to know the tiny Citroen C1 my husband even began to like the car!
