“Our Algarve holiday”

We wanted a week in a sunny warm place, a comfortable hotel,an area of interest with a good beach and pool, nice food and friendly service. We got all of that and more from one call to Fleetway Travel. Everything was easy to do, all of our arrangements worked perfectly and it all lived up to our expectations.
We arrived home rested, nicely tanned and slightly overweight!
Ther is much to see and do around Lagos in Southern Portugal. A variety of beaches, plenty of boat trips, inland jeep safaris and a large number of all kinds of restaurants. We preferred the authentic, home cooking of the local places which were plentiful and very good. Most served brilliant fish and there were several regional pork and lamb dishes on offer. Our greatest joy was the oranges. The area is full of orange groves with delicious, juicy fruit. There are also fresh vegetables in abundance. On our excursion to the hills we even became acquainted wth Medronho, fire water, made from the fruit of one of the many edible shrubs growing wild round and about the hillsides.
We will go again and will do it with Fleetway
