“appalling service at jfk”

From arriving at the avis desk to leaving in a car took an hour and a half !!. The car was pre booked so shouldn't have been a problem. After 'tip tapping' away at the computer for 45 minutes it was eventually decided that a car in my group would shortly becoming available. Told to wait outside. Car eventuality appears. Car was an impala (is this really a premium car with avis !). Also charged a one way fee when my voucher stated included. I've been hiring cars from US airports using all the major companies for 25 years and this is by far the worst experience. Avoid avis at jfk.
