“Don't' be fooled”

I have used Teletext holidays in the past and although the price has always gone up slightly, I could live with the increase. I tried to book another holiday and when quoted 40% more I said this was ridiculous and after speaking to his supervisor, the agent came back offering the rate I had seen. He asked me to hold and then left me hanging on for 15 minutes. The call was then disconnected. I rang back but got someone else. They said they could not find who I was talking to and asked for the holiday details again. They quoted a 40% increase again. After she said there was nothing she could do, I asked to speak with the Manager. She came back to say he was busy and that he would ring me back shortly. 3 days later, guess what, no call. I have checked the price of the holiday since and the price showing is still what was on the system when I first rang them. No doubt they will reply saying someone will contact me, but I think not. Anyway I decided to try and book my flights and accommodation separately and ended up with as good a deal as they had advertised! Fantastic. Goodbye Teletext holidays. I will not be ringing you ever again!
