“Very poor service”

I ordered a Hi-Gear double camping stove through the Click and Collect service. Due to being discontinued, it was a very reasonable price and only 1 in stock at the Stockport branch. I reserved the item and also a discount card. The morning after, I received an e-mail saying my items were ready and could collect from store in 1 hour. My partner phoned the store to ask if she could collect as she works in the area and was told she couldnt as the card was in my name.
I had to travel from my work in Oldham to Stockport, during rush hour, to collect.
I gave the checkout girl my collect code and said she couldnt find any record on the computer system or my item in the reserved items area. I went over to the computer with her, and I managed to find my name on the list with not much searching!!!
She then radioed through to her colleague who had supposedly picked the order and I heard him say over the radio that he couldnt find the item.
So it sounds like he couldnt find the item, but just thought he would enter on the computer system that it was picked and ready for collection.
The poor checkout girl was clearly embarrassed by the whole fiasco and her explanation was her colleague had messed up a number of orders before.
She apologised for the mistake, but I left the store feeling like I dont want to shop with Go Outdoors ever again, and didnt bother taking the discount card either because I wont be using it now.
