“Had a Hornet 600 for only 2 days and got knocked off...”

Had a Hornet 600 for only 2 days and got knocked off and bike was a loss. Needed something to get back and forth to work. The Yamaha XT600E really took my fancy. Nice upright position, plenty of poke and can lay it down in the bends like it was a racer! Never had so much fun. Really easy to maintain and brilliant on fuel. Was getting itchy feet for something quicker, but the insurance on the XT is really good (42 years of age - £118 tpft, no NCB). So the XT stays for the foreseeable. If you're looking for something fast, reliable & fun, then the XT is very, very hard to beat. And you can pick up an 02 or even 03 for around £2k - beat that for VFM!!
