“Opodo, USELESS”

We booked flights from Opodo and paid up, but didn't receive any confirmation. Then tried calling them on expensive number and having waited for forever for 45 minutes, their customer services said they cannot find our booking (So they have taken the money but don't know where is our booking, sounds like they work from a rear garage or something)
Then called again their finance department and being disconnected three times after long waiting times, they finally took our call as we were not going to give up. After tracking through my card details, they managed to find our booking and said they dont know why they have not sent the booking confirmation. Anyway, they then made all the false promises that the confirmation will follow after the call, its been several days, still no confirmation e-mail from Opodo, although they took the money straight away. Looks like the confirmation is sent (if) on the back of a turtle and will hopeful arrive one day, but not before our holidays. Anyway, we have had to contact individual air lines directly and apparently some of the details pass on from Opodo were wrong. It is taken a long and hard route to try to get our booking confirmation from the airlines directly, while Opodo is still sleeping in the back garage. We will not be using them again.
