Good Points
Excellent DVD player just bought one from Tesco today, allows you to backup (Region 1) NTSC DVDs on video using Pal output option in menu, plays MP3, VCD as well.

Bad Points
None that ive come across

General Comments
I bought a Sony NS700V in November, it was chipped to make it multi-region, it had no hack for macrovision, and it does not allow you to make backup copy of Region 1 (NTSC) DVD's onto VCR, and it cost over £300.

Whereas the Dansai 852, has everything the Sony has and more, and is less than a £100, no chips required, there is a secret menu to disable macrovision and enable multiregion.

I would recommend this DVD to everyone.

Excellent value for money.
