Good Points
Excellent comfort for both rider and pillion. Smooth, effortless performance with normal motorway cruising speeds no problem.

Bad Points
Handling ok but not brilliant, especially two up. Servicing seems a bit frequent and a bit costly for a 4 stroke single.

General Comments
I use this Piaggio X9 500 scooter as a second vehicle to commute a 50 mile round trip, carrying a pillion. The X9 cruises effortlessly and is more than quick enough to out perform most sensibly driven cars. It is quiet, economical and comfortable and is only let down by dubious handling on the twisty roads if hurried along. Plenty of storage space and cubbys for putting bits and pieces. Overall very pleased, until that service light illuminates!
