We have recently returned from Amsterdam. The hotel Casa 400 was excellent, it was clean and the staff were very accommodating. The hotel restaurant was superb, a fabulous and varied continental breakfast and a varied evening menu. The hotel itself was only 10 minutes on the metro into Amsterdam and the station literally across the road from the hotel. The only disappointing factor was that our transfer taxi back to the airport (which we had paid for in advance) failed to turn up and when we contacted them they said it was because they hadn't been paid by LoCost ! This was an unfortunate end to an otherwise enjoyable time. We luckily managed to secure another taxi from the hotel reception and thankfully made it to the airport for our flight home. As a result of this however we have incurred out of pocket expenses for something that was arranged and paid for in full and would hate for other holiday makers to be put into a similar position.
