“Returns here are joke and so is this company”

I returned a pair pants over a month ago and was waiting for the return amount to show on my bank account. I finally emailed the company and they informed me the return never arrived at the warehouse and was not found. I was told the only way I could receive my money back was to show a proof of purchase receipt. Unfortunately I threw away the receipt, because I had never had problems with returns from other online retailers, my mistake apparently! I have yet to hear a response as to whether they can track the return postage they sent (that was attached to the return item I sent back) or any other way to rectify the problem. I'm pretty sure based on numerous other poor reviews that they do this often and are scamming customers out of money from returns. I may never receive my money back. A word of advice shoppers: Pay a little extra and shop at Lulu's or other honest and reputable online retailers. I will definitely be taking my own advice and never shop here again!
