“Money to waste? Give it to charity and not them”

I was member of this gym for several years as it was conveniently close to my place of work. The place had zero reinvestment, the staff were all minimum wage but it was handy. The fabric of the place started to deteriorate with lots of inoperable machines, no staff observers in the main gym area, steam room smelling badly, black mould in the showers and 90% of the lockers permanently locked. Eventually I had enough and sent my resignation letter and stopped the direct debit. Two months later I have received a threatening letter from a debt collecting company demanding two months subscription plus costs. Avoid at all costs
