we bought a cast iron doormat. When we received it, the product itself is very nice, however it does not suit where we were going to put it on so we decided to return it. We received a returns number with no problem. When I came to pack the package back up, however, I realise there was no return slip. I phoned customer services to discover that one has to return it at one's own cost. This is a product which is really heavy cast iron and the customer services rep dismissively told me that I may as well not bother returning it because it would cost me more to do so than the product itself had cost us. The person I spoke to couldn't care less, was monosyllabic and rude. I would never use Primrose again and I would recommend to all my friends that they do not use them either. In this day and age of flexible buying, over the internet and other mail order options, it is prehistoric to require someone to return the goods at their own expense and the dismissive attitude, really couldn't care less, of the member of staff in particular would make me never ever use them.
