“Unuseable Hungarian Goose Down Pillows”

They look marvellous but are completely impractical. I have quality housewife and Oxford Egyptian cotton percale pillow cases and it is almost impossible to fit these into them and completely impossible with a pillow protector. They are incredibly hard anyway but, when constrained by a pillow case, have no ability to be compressed and would be impossible to sleep on.

Having tried, and failed, to install one of the pair, I have repacked and returned them, unused, for a refund. I note that the return instructions say that you can only return an item that has not been unpacked: that is ludicrous and would not stand up in court.

I bought them under the impression that they were 100% goose down and, at nearly £100 a pair, would have expected that. Having read the listing carefully, they appear to have a solid goose feather centre and a down outer coating.

Caveat emptor: I eagerly await my refund
