“Disappointing Tablet From Apple”

First I must say how exited I was when I opened my birthday present and saw it was the new iPad 2 Air. Bullseye I felt, this was top notch on my most wanted list. :)

I have now had the time to test it thoroughly for 2 weeks and my overall review summery is: Disappointing.

Now. As with all Apple stuff you start feeling great already when unpacking your new gadget. It is always nicely wrapped and looks really cool when you unpack it. The good feelings keep coming while you transfer old data though iCloud with no bugs and no hangs. This is great, good work!

But now after having set up the iPad with all necessary apps and data, I started encountering unholy stalls and trashy aborts of the application system. Suddenly safari closes unforced and from time to time the touch pad freezes for seconds before it lets me continue typing or clicking.

I guess and hope this is solvable by a software update and that it comes swiftly. Else I fear that the new darling on the sofa will be left aside and become forgotten way too soon.
