“Never have had a smile since day 1 of my new kitchen ”

Where do I start.....kitchen was installed and signed off by the fitter himself on 2nd March 2015, today the 12th July I am still awaiting the kitchen to be installed to a standard that I am happy with. Homebase have used a company run by a guy from Worthing and I would urge nobody to use him ever for any work unless you are happy with terrible workmanship - he fitted damaged doors, broken cupboards, fitted the tiles incorrectly (horizontal instead of vertical as the design of the kitchen was issued), decided on making changes himself to kitchen design and I can go on. After making the installation team aware of the issues, they did not seem to think the kitchen was installed badly and said it was acceptable so I took this further and contacted the store to get a more senior member to visit and show him. After this visit (3 hour meeting) he agreed that workmanship was appalling and many units would be reordered and a new fitting team would be used. Time is ticking and still have to wait until 17th August - 5 months after kitchen was installed to get these problems resolved.....NEVER USING HOMEBASE AGAIN FOR ANY MATERIALS, communication is terrible and urgency in rectifying their mistakes is totally unacceptable. Looking forward to their bill which will NOTbe paid and the compensation claim/offer before I make Trading Standards aware of my issues which is limy to end in court action
