We contacted booking.com regarding a cancelation which we were told (by one of many people we ended up talking to) that it would be no problem. In fact we were given an email stating this. Come to find out the hotel charged my credit card anyway. So armed with my email from Booking.com stating I would be refunded I began what turned out to be a three month ordeal where in the end, I still ended up paying for the hotel that I never stayed at. Save yourself the stress and hassle and use Expedia or some other more reputable organization to book your vacation.
