“Dishonest overpriced company”

written by 410Ayers on 30/06/2015

I would avoid Ideal Image for all of your services but especially their cosmetic injections. I am a former employee for this company. I was trained for 2 days on injections to the lips, NLF marionette lines and botox/dysport. I felt the training to be inadequate and discussed this with my manager and even the companies HR department. Their response was if I would just practice I would feel more comfortable and get better. Mind you practicing meant on paying customers. I did practice on a co-worker who ended up in the Emergency room, the company didn't have any resources for her when she was dealing with swelling in which looks like her lips might explode. I discussed this with my medical preceptor who suggested that I follow her around to learn some techniques, this left me feeling even more frusturated because she (the medical preceptor for multiple states) injected the wrong product into a paying guests lips...she didn't even write up an incident report or let the guest know. Most of the providers felt like the training and ability to give a good treatment was unsatisfactory. After I put my foot down stating that I felt it unethical to practice on paying guests when I couldn't deliver what I felt to be a satisfactory treatment I was laid off because they were "overstaffed". When guests return upset with their hair loss results or crappy injections (which is frequently) the company does little to remedy this or provide good customer service. If you are reading good reviews I would be very cautious, the company coerces guests to get online and give them positive reviews by enticing them with free product. So beware of positively inflated reviews. The other thing I would keep in mind and it does state this in very small print in the contract but guests never seem to read these, their lasers can STIMULATE hair growth...yes you heard right you might come out with more hair than when you started!!! Their wonderful lifetime treatments doesn't mean a lifetime with free treatments...you pay a "co-pay" for these treatments and it can be $150 dollars or more a time. They claim they have top of the line lasers and that they use nurses, after doing these treatments for almost three years I can tell you that it doesn't make that big of a difference. My sister works at a dermatology office she's not a nurse they use the same laser, they charge one tenth of the price and it works every bit as good. Go somewhere else don't trust that "yes it may cost $7,000 or more for your legs but its worth it and the financing is awesome." This is not a company that I would ever consider using all they care about is building a bigger company and how many millions of dollars they can bring in a year.
