“Level 2 Award in Food Safety”

An excellent way to do this essential course for people who handle food. I have undertaken the course as a member of a Primary School's Parent, Teacher, Friends Association (PTFA) as I will be busy making cakes and grilling burgers at many events. It was great that you could learn in small sections with test questions at the end of each section. The instructions how to log on, complete the course and undertake the exam questions were really clear and easy to follow.
Thirty days was given to complete the course, which was more than an adequate amount and this gave me a goal to progress through the course. The time limit only began once you activated your account so when you were ready to do it.
I learnt a great deal from the course and was able to implement changes in practices; thermometer usage for cooking temperature, temperature log books, gloves, separate person for taking money and use of appropriate cleaning fluids.
I spoke to the course provider on the telephone and they were curteous, professional and really helpful.
I am proud of my achievement and don't beleive there is a better way to do it, and really cost effective!
