“Failed to Deliver”

Expensive flowers and balloon did not arrive to my Mums for her 70th surprise (ordered from NZ as their web site looked quality and caring despite being pricey). Could not reach anyone on all numbers provided, tried most of night my time, also emailed as I desperately wanted flowers to be delivered but only thing that had happened at that stage was a van did turn up, the driver said to Mum I think I was supposed to have flowers for you but haven't!! and he left. I finally got an email from Lillian Rose after the weekend saying sorry, the vehicle was delayed by an accident outside of our control and we will delivering flowers next working day... Not so caring and also a completely fabricated excuse, given driver had actually turned up but with no flowers. I emailed for refund, haven't got it yet so will see how that goes and we no longer want the flowers obviously as the element of surprise and the big day has gone. No set procedures in place to ensure contact, no answer to mobile, no way of tracking your delivery and extremely poor and unprofessional response to the issue, not helpful at all.
