“Stay well away”

written by AngieFox286 on 28/06/2015

Signed up with Talk Talk broadband phone & TV. After fault developed where I was unable to receive free view channels called customer services and endured an approx 45 minute call running through as series of tests to no avail. Was advised a wait for it 'Bright Sparks Engineer' needed to visit to identify the problem. Not so bright spark turned up and ran through the same tests I had gone through with customer services on the phone with one additional test of using a different you view box, his conclusion was that the fault lies with my Ariel and away he goes advising me to have the Ariel checked.

Spoke to landlord who arranged for his own contracted TV Ariel specialist to check the problem who identified the fault to be with the cable provided by talk talk which connects the house Ariel to the you view box. Connected TV Ariel directly to you view box all sorted working perfectly.

Contacted talk talk as £65.00 charge has been applied to account for the Dull Bulb sorry Bright Spark visit asking for charge to be removed as the fault has been identified to be talk talk equipment after all and there is and hasn't been a problem with my Ariel. Talk Talk refusing to remove charge from account. Have email 3 times, spoke via live chat and made calls still getting nowhere. Email states 72hr turnaround to respond that was 9days ago???
