“8 months later boiler still isnt' working!”

Through the energy efficient scheme by the Government, I applied for a new boiler through my energy supplier. Swale Heating were the designated contractors for this. In October 2014 Swale, after cancelling three appointments finally came to fit my new "energy efficient" boiler. Two days later (I left the next day after having the boiler fitted overseas) I received a telephone call from my daughter telling me that there was no hot water, and that the boiler was leaking all over my microwave. I had to call Swale from overseas to let them know this was happening. They arranged to come back and fix the problem, albeit my microwave was ruined through water damage. The problem was fixed temporarily, and then the boiler started leaking again and dripping water all over the place. That is when the fun began with this company. I have had them out at least 10 times,have had the manufacturer out twice, have had to listen to their horrible call centre music so many times that I can repeat the tunes in my head, and am on a first name basis with the call centre staff. The individual who was my point of contact was never available, didnt' bother to return phone calls, and in one week I actually called and left over 20 messages. To date, I haven't heard from him and he has fobbed me off on someone else. However, my boiler still isn't working 8 months later, my gas bills have doubled since last year when the boiler was replaced. and I have no hot water. Each time they send a technician around, I get another story, and another excuse. The valves weren't fitted properly, the pipe wasn't fitted properly, and the entire boiler isn't wired properly. It is 25 degrees out and the only way that I can get hot water (which I figured out myself) is to have my central heating on JOKE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE USELESS, LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS, BOTCH UP JOBS AND TREAT YOU LIKE AN INCONVENIENCE once they have your payment.
