“The perfect trip!”

We needed a one-way ticket from Venice, Italy to Los Angeles, California. This is not an easy trip so the tickets are very expensive. After offering us several alternatives, we selected a flight through Düsseldorf with a 21 hour layover. It just so happens we have a friend 30 minutes from that airport. We had not planned to see her on this trip.
We had a perfect layover. She picked us up, we stopped at a farm to get fresh produce, had a great meal and a walk about town. We slept comfortably in her home, had a traditional German breakfast then she deposited us back at the airport.
The flights were on time, the service was excellent and most important of all, we arrived home safely.
Before this trip, we did not know AirBetlin was a transAtlantic carrier. We would fly with them again and recommend them to our friends. Thanks, One Travel for arranging what for us was more than just a flight.
