“Cycle department Harlow - don't bother!”

I needed a puncture repaired quickly, so I asked a staff member at the Harlow branch if it would be okay to bring my son's bike in. "Just drop it in" I was told. Brought it down the next day and went off to do some shopping - 5 hours later I returned to the store as we were passing by to see how they were getting on, bike is still leant up against the (unattended) cycle area. Manager comes over and gets quite rude when I say I'm taking the bike away to do myself (wish I had done it myself really, but I have arthritis and struggle to get the tyres off etc). Manager tells me "we don't just drop everything you know", well excuse me, being told to drop the bike in and leave it with them for the day isn't exactly imposing on them, in my view anyway.

Lesson learned, Go Outdoors is excellent for a wide range of items, but once you've bought a bicycle from them, use someone else to service/repair it!!!
