Bad Points
Poor engine noise insulation, Large turning circle.
Service costs.

General Comments
This is my first Mitsubishi Pajero (called Shogun in UK and Ireland). I drive the 2.5 TDi variant. It is an excellent commuting vehicle and weekend workhorse and it easily endures all kinds of conditions here in Finland where there is Arctic winter for five months of the year. The Pajero's 4x4 traction is excellent in fresh deep snow and on packed slippery ice. Interior space is excellent with seven seats, two of which are reserve in the cargo bay. Driving visibility is excellent. The only negative aspect of the Pajero I can think of is the engine noise insulation.

Overall, I recommend the Pajero as a real off-roader which also behaves decently in the urban environment.
