“I super love my Kanken No. 2 Lake Blue!”

This is my first Kanken and I'm super impressed by how it's the perfect size for everything I need on a regular day out. It matches a lot of outfits, from cute and preppy to cool to formal to casual... Amazing. I've also chosen the No. 2 as the leather detailing is really a lot nicer than just the Classic. (That said, I'm actually contemplating getting myself a Classic sometime in the future if there's a nice color I fancy..) I also quite like the backing that comes with the bag cos it gives the bag shape even if it's empty. The little button that clasp the handles tight is also smart design cos it keeps the bag upright and gives it an overall rather neat look. I also love the handles as they're not thick and bulky (hot and uncomfortable for my shoulders) or thin and flimsy (floppy look) - just the right thickness as well as comfortable enough for my regular day out.

The only downsides are: 1. The leather detailing has edges that are dropping off little bits of leather, possibly a new leather product problem so it's alright. And 2. The side pockets can't fit my fat Nalgene bottle!

I've also bought the Kanken Greenland wax and am planning to do it soon with the No. 2 as well as a friend's No. 1 Foldsack, also from Fjallraven.
