“Happy, but not without issues”

B&G Insurance came as my lowest quote on a price compassion website, so I decided to go with them. Downfall ... office only open till 7pm!!!
The following week I rang after 5.30pm to go ahead with the quote, I waited and waited until after 6.30pm someone picked up the phone! I was through to the wrong department!!! I held for a further 20 mins t be told there office is now closed. Promised a call back ... never happened!!
The following day I called, the advisor could not understand what I was saying, I had to repeat myself 6-7 times before he got it right, eventually he hung up!!!
2nd attempt, spoke with a lovely lady she was lovely, understood the crazy position I was in dealing with a football tournament and on the phone trying to sort out my insurance. She was calm and waiting whilst to got the teams together. What a turnaround, I has forgotten everything that happened before, but we encountered a problem, the quote went up. She explained that it may be a problem with the system, so offered to find out what was going on and get back to me. Okay a call back was offered for 30 minutes later.
Call back didn't come and I was a little impatient and called back exactly 30 mins later, She picked up the phone, and apologised, but to be fair I had not given the full time she had stated.
Hey presto..... everything was back on track. Insurance completed and documents have been sent.

Overall not the best start to the service, however once I managed to get through to her, she was lovely. A credit to the company, and if it had not been for her, I may have gone elsewhere.
