Just gone back to B.T 2 weeks ago after the nightmare of having to deal with Pipex and their Indian call centre, calling every evening and waiting to speak to someone with poor English and getting absolutely no where. Now I am back with B.T I am having deja vu. No broadband connection from day one, another Indian call centre, more poor English albeit with a much better attitude but still getting no where. Waited in all day for arranged engineer visit but he/she didn't show even though I received a confirmation call to confirm the visit. No explanation - just something went wrong they say, at least I think that was what was said - so hard to say when the English is so poor. As B.T haven't provided the broadband service at all I am cancelling if they don't fix in seven days. I am forming the opinion that the whole broadband provision industry is rubbish so no one really bothers. It's time Oftel or similar got this sorted out.
