I've been a customer of this salon for a while so I've decided to leave my review here which also serves as a reminder for myself.
First of all the team is nice and fairly helpful although expect delays sometimes. They seem to know what they are talking about and they treat customers with respect which I deeply appreciate.
Every time I arrive for my appointment I get excited because they have quite a few awards around the place which is very reassuring and I always think how they will create something amazing on my head that will blow my mind.
I suppose it's my fault I have high expectations buy hey it's T&G I think my reaction to the reputation and mentioned awards isn't surprising.
And here's the thing I go in and explain to the lovely knowledgeable staff what I'd like, show photos and talk it out and after several hours of waiting and eventually making a respectable dent in my wallet I go home, look into the mirror and I find myself disappointed. What I get it so far from what I imagined and what we talked about. Whether it's the colour or the style, nothing looks the way I imagined. Not even close. And what makes this really upsetting is that I've seen their colour chart so the image in head wasn't unrealistic I knew exactly what they are capable of creating and what I got didn't look anything like it.
Again, it's a lovely place and the staff is nice but next time I'll think about going here twice before making an appointment. I might try ghd in London or just a different T&G salon.
