I feel I ought to write a positive review as I couldn't fault the service of Bedstore. I ordered a bed from one of their sister companies (bedroom world), read the negative reviews and then cancelled and reordered with Bedstore, not realising they were both part of world stores. I emailed bedroom world to cancel the order and they replied within a day confirming it had been done. After a couple of days, I emailed to point out that according to the XDP tracking info, it had not been cancelled. Again, they replied via email within a couple of days confirming that the whole order was now cancelled. Regarding the new order - I chose named day delivery 5 days after the order was placed - thought next day might be too ambitious given the reviews! Was kept informed throughout by XDP of the progress via a tracking page and given a 3 hour time slot for delivery in my requested day. Order arrived 10 minutes early, all complete and undamaged. The delivery man (who was very polite and helpful) arrived in a rented van so it looks like XDP are doing something to address their previously poor service by employing extra delivery drivers. Can't comment on the actual product (mission single bed) as I'm waiting for my husband to unpack and build it!
