“Relaxing Ischia holiday with excellent service”

Our first visit to Ischia but not our last, hopefully, and we would be more than happy to return to the Garden and Villas hotel. The hotel is located on a hillside just outside the seaside town of Lacco Ameno. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and produce from the gardens is used in the restaurant. Breakfast can be taken outside in a covered area adjacent to the pool, and consists of a variety of fruits, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, and a selection of cakes and breads, with locally produced jams. (By the way, the pool itself is maintained at a minimum of 28C.)
The hotel also has an indoor pool, a hot room, and a variety of spa treatments are available on site. The hotel's own shuttle service was very useful for lifts to and from neighbouring towns and attractions, and we would recommend the nearby La Mortella gardens as a worthwhile destination, with a reasonable 12 Euro entrance fee.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and contributed greatly to our enjoyment during our time there.
