“Beautiful Island of Rhodes”

We have just returned from the Beautiful Island of Rhodes. We spent a week at the Amathus Beach Hotel in Ixia. The hotel was great , food, drinks & the hotel staf were really friendly & we were looked after very well. In fact we were sad to leave. Upon saying all this the journey to & from Rhodes is not one I would wish to endure again. When we reached East Midlands Airport to check in bearing in mind we had already done this online with Ryanair we had to queue for almost 1hr to hand our baggage over. The place was full of travellers doing the same. Then had to queue again to go through security once this was done we had only 10 minutes before our flight was called.
The return journey was the same reaching the airport 2 & half hours before our flight Ryanair had only 2 desks open. The airport was very hot & the flight was called for boarding & the plane had not even arrived from the UK. Would I travel with Ryanair again probably not. Would I go back to the Amathus Beach Hotel again definitely .
