In trying to purchase a house with HSBC (after already having used HSBC on a previous home) with PRE-APPROVAL for loan amount which was 15% assessed value of home was a NIGHTMARE!
We could never get in touch with our contacts. Always right to voicemail and no returned calls. When we managed to communicate via VOICEMAIL and EMAIL predominately, we would be promised to have information to us next day-only to be followed by silence. We constantly reminded them of deadlines -which truly they seemed to completely ignore, it's not their deposit on the line is it after all??? Extremely stressful, lack of consideration, or even dedicated or haphazard performance. Can not tell you what a crushing and horrible business transaction.
In a nutshell:
Terrible customer service
Lack or accountablity or care about the client and services provided
No initiative or solution seeking ability
Absolutely no pride in job or capabilities
WONDERFUL at passing on responsibility or blame with in company or back on client
Hope to never have to deal with HSBC Mortgage services again.
