“Terrible”

I have had an awful year with first central car insurance. First of all they 'forgot' to upload my details onto the national database meaning that I was stopped by the police who attempted to take my car and missed a meeting that I had driven 2 hours to attend (costing me a significant amount!). To their credit they did send £70 in compensation - although not nearly the amount that it cost me. They then charged me £50 'admin' fee for changing my address, and another £50 for changing my car - again 'admin' charge plus a significant amount extra for the new vehicle. I was then quoted a 'special price' for my loyalty for the next year...£600 more than other sites - 3x as much!! During the time I was with them they also made a number of errors regarding my payment - basically they again 'forgot' to take payment for 6 months so without then telling me, they took 6 months worth out in one go. Every time I spoke to them I was left frustrated with their service. I will never again use this company.
