Myself, girlfriend and 2 1/2 year old went here over the easter weekend. Firstly we are not snobs or dirty people, in fact i think my other half has a cleaning obsession since having our son. We read the reviews on here and wasn't filled with confidence as they were all bad, we nearly didnt bother going, but glad we did.
We stayed in a deluxe plus accomodation and it was very clean, NO stains or strange marks on the linen, loads of cups, plates, pans etc. The people we saw seemed very normal and respectable ( a few chavs but nothing you wouldnt see down your local high street, what do you expect its a campsite and they didnt cause no bother, just ill fitting jeans and oversized hats.
Prices seemed normal in the on site shop and the pub which is a 2 minute walk near the seal sanctuary is nice and well priced(and sky sports).I couldnt believe how clean and nice the beech is which is just over the sand dunes you can see from the site, 5 minute walk and your on the sand which is very clean, didnt see one piece of litter on the sands.
Im really glad we went and have read other reviews on other websites and they are more mixed reviews but there are over 700 caravans on site and 50 something bad reviews on here over a couple of years, you do the maths and its a very low percentage.
The only thing that could have improved on is more heaters to hire as the caravans were quite cold in the night even though we left the fire on low, perhaps take some thick blankets, apart from this everything was fine, clean and left happy campers.
I would seriously read other review websites and not just this one before making your mind up.
