I've been with Halifax for over 30 yrs, with mortgage and savings.Eversince being taken over by LloydsTSB, the Customer service is very bad.I went to my local branch on a saturday in april to open an ISA acc. for the this yr 2011 and was told I need to have an appointment to do this.No wonder the bank is losing money and customers. What sort of bank that do not accept money from the customer??? I went to Nationwide Building Society and was given the ISA application form straightaway.Filled in the form, handed it in and within a week the acc. was opened.Congratulations to Nationwide.The Halifax manager should be sacked for having such poorly trained staff
