At around 1015 on Saturday 4th Sept, I purchased some diesel in Medway eastbound service station.



The male cashier was holding a conversation with the female assistant when he dealt with my bill.



There was no conversation with me other than saying to me "You can remove your card now "MY MAN" "......This to a 65 year old was his

first mistake !



He handed me my receipt, still in conversation with the other assistant, No Thank you, no acknowledgement.



I said,, thank you very much, to which he seemed surprised and replied

to the effect of "You are welcome"



I replied that maybe a thank you from him would be appropriate. His reply was...

"Don't you take that attitude with me"

I replied that it would have been good manners.



His reply was "Go away"



I asked for BP's address and his name.



His reply was "Go away"



I said that I would report the matter and again was told to "Go away ".



Later that day I tried to obtain BP's address ( at the westbound Service station) and the staff, who were extremely polite, but were unable to tell me.



I have contacted the Service Station this morning, and advised that they are a franchise, and given their head office address. They were very apologetic and polite.



My view of BP has changed......perhaps as a previously regular customer, I shall in future, just "GO AWAY".
