Certainly saves time and hassle by going through make it cheaper, a few minutes on the phone and it's all sorted for you. Particularly if like me you haven't got the time to be chasing down the best deals yourself. Possibly I could have found a cheaper tariff if I had done the searching myself, but I'd rather lose out on a few pennies and have someone else do the leg work for me, I hate that time of year when all the utilities start calling about your upcoming renewal!
Down side would be that you have to sign documents electronically, they are emailed to you whilst on the phone to the customer service agent, and I don't feel you are given enough time to read through properly. I felt rushed by the CS agent, which meant I didn't read it thoroughly enough, which now means we have the incorrect company name on our contract for this site. Quite often do we get phone calls for one of our other sites and I have to prompt to confirm which address they are talking about and that they have phoned the wrong person for that particular site. Not sure how they are getting the data confused when surely each site has its own account number. Anyway, overall, they're alright and I'm sure I'll be back again.
