“Really well structured course - highly recommend”

I had some previous experience driving many years ago but was a nervous driver and so hadn't been in a car for 8 years. The 5 day course was perfect for me and it was nice to be doing it with other people in the same position as you and of all ages. Theory training was built into the course which was great as I hadn't done any prep for it before the course but passed fine. We did a couple of hours of theory practice the first three days and took the test on the Thursday. I did a bit of extra study in the evening on my theory and show and tell stuff, probably an hour each night.
The driving lessons themselves were great too. My instructor was very friendly and helped me to relax and not get nervous when driving and into a panic when I made mistakes. I did my course in Sutton which is ideal as the roads are busy enough that you get good practice but not too busy so that you're always in traffic and in difficult driving situations. My instructor had lots of great tips especially for the manoeuvres and was chatty which helped me to relax when driving.
When I finished the course on the Friday my instructor told me I was ready to take a test and managed to get a fast tracked test for the following Thursday and passed with only a few minors :)
Couldn't recommend the course enough although I think if you can get a few hours driving practice beforehand it helps.
