“Shop around before using this company”

When I enquired about a registration this company told me it was due to arrive with them on a certain date. What they failed to say was that it was a release day with Dvla and they would purchase the plate for £250.00 then charge me just over £800.00 for clicking a button and having the plates made. I understand they are a dealer and I expect a mark up but £550?? I feel that I was miss led and duped into purchasing, I expressed my disappointment afterwards in a phone call but they couldn't comment. I shall look elsewhere next time.
