“Haven - Devon Cliffs Holiday Park

Haven - Devon Cliffs Holiday Park

Having booked a really good deal online for Half Term , I was slightly concerned that I'd made a mistake when I read some of the previous reviews. We'd never been to a 'holiday camp' before, but with a 6 & 8 year old boys we decided it was worth a shot, and also enticed my brother and his family along too.

Yes - the site is steep, the clue is in the name 'Devon Cliffs'!

Yes - the site is very large, but the facicilties are well managed.

Yes - the caravans are a little worn, but i've spent an awful lot of money on apparently 'luxury accommodation' that has been in considerably worse condition.

We booked the most basic caravan a two bedroom standard, which was cleaned to within an inch of it's life, only a few stains on the carpet, and a bit of rippled lino let it down - I've had worse in a 5* hotel!

The staff are amazing, every single one of them made it seem that our holiday was of most importance, there was an abundance of smiles, and not enough could be done for the boys.

We were possibly fortunate with our location - a 3 minute walk to a sandy beach in one direction and a 3 minute walk to all the facilities in the other.

I would not hesitate to book again. I would like to say a big thank you to All at Devon Cliffs - we are now converted!
