I run a small business and signed up with XLN for 4 phone lines with broadband for a two year deal. All good so far untill the invoices start coming in with undisclosed extra charges that I had not agreed to under the original package. Examples:
"Non NGN surcharges" £14.40 per month
"Business Assurance" £9.36 per month
Router replaced under warranty (not) - that will be £40.00 please
Additional courier charges for routers £30, thank you
Then to top it all, premium rate phone call charges of £9.32 when I called them to dispute the extra charges. When I complained about this, this is the response I received:
"After reviewing these call charges that equated to the amount of £7.77 [+VAT] we can see that these were calls made to XLN, however we are not able to credit these back for you at this time. We appreciate that these calls were made to resolve several issues on your account, nonetheless we are unable to waive these....This is our final resolution on the matter and will not take the matter any further"
Says it all really. My advice, do yourself a favour and avoid this company.
