First impressions of Harveys store and staff are OK, we ordered a sofa and got the usual 8-10 weeks delivery. Despite chasing on numerous occasions after 10 weeks, we kept getting fobbed off with lots of excuses, wrong / faulty material or some such. After something like 30 phone calls, we got a delivery date of ...23rd December, 2 days before Christmas. We got rid of the old sofa (I know.....!) Got a call in the afternoon to say the new sofa was not even made yet!!! Many, many more phone calls and lies later we got the sofa in April. To say that Harveys customer service is poor would be like saying Hitler was slightly nasty! You should avoid Harveys at all costs, do not even go into the store. They are one of the worst companies we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with and they're British! Oh dear. To be fair, they offered £200 off but even so, the aggravation was just not worth it. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
