“are they trying to win an award for terrible service?”

Products are cheap and sales is efficient but the back up service is just about the worst i have experiénced, lots of great reviews which discuss sales but if you look at the poor reviews they all relate to backup when support is needed,just terrible, pay a few £ more elsewhere to avoid potential service problems.
