“Good vehicle but inconvenient collection/drop off”

We hired for 10d out of Bari (Italy). The car was good (& an upgrade on what we had booked), & came with a full fuel tank (none of the nonsense of getting a part-full tank & having to return it likewise). A definite downside was that the car was provided by an operator (Firefly) who not only had no office at the airport, but whose office was located remotely on a poorly signed industrial site, very hard to find when returning the car and without any convenient fuel stations. By the time we got onto the site there was not time to hunt a fuel station before drop-off & departure for our flight. So we were charged a lot of money (€30 penalty charge plus €40 for half a tank of diesel).
