“Their gym in itself isn't worth what they charge”

The gym was fine, although expensive. The main problem was that when I first joined, I paid for three months up front, and then cancelled my membership immediately, so they wouldn't keep charging me for a service I might not want later on. Then I suddenly got an invoice anyway. I contacted them and said I already cancelled my membership, but they claimed it happened on another day than it did. I corrected them, they admitted their mistake, but then instead claimed that I didn't pay for the last of the three months, gave me a 20% discount out of "goodwill" and asked me to pay them anyway. I've told them that my bank statement says otherwise. I still haven't gotten their reply, but I'll get the bank involved for proof if I have to. Either way, stay far, far away. Their gym in itself isn't worth what they charge.
