“Best Water Softener we have ever had!”

Over the past 35 years we have lived in several locations and, where necessary, always had a water softener.
When we moved back to Suffolk 8+ years ago we had a softener installed.
Sadly, this was not through Patmores and when we had a problem the installers requested a £80 fee before even coming to look at it. So we called Patmores who solved the problem - at less than the call out charge form the other company.
A few years later another visit from Patmores was required an, sadly, the softener had reached the end of it’s useful life This was when we had the TwinTec installed.
There was a noticeable improvement from day one and the salt usage is much less.
It’s a neat tidy device fitting under the sink in the utility room where it is easy to check the salt level, and top up as required. From a users point of view, a feature is the salt block holder which can be removed completely enabling a quick rinse to remove any salt residue. This ensures that the salt blocks slide down easily and not jam as we have encountered on other models.
We consider this as one of our “best buys”.
We would recommend it to anyone who has a hard water problem.
