Took out insurance on the recommendation of Hoover for my tumble dryer. Engineer arrived on 10th March and put in a new board. He left and said it was all done. After he left I noticed the tumble dryer was leaking which it wasn't before. Received a call a couple of days later to say engineer booked to call on 20th March as there was another part needed to be fitted. Said engineer had not mentioned this but whilst he was here could he repair the leak that the original engineer had left us with. Engineer did not arrive on the 20th and received another call to say he would be here on the 27th. When the engineer arrived I was using the tumble dryer which was working perfectly apart from the leak. He fixed the leak, replaced the board and after testing it for 15 minutes said it was all done. Put some towels in to dry and no matter what dry cycle I put the machine on everyone of them went straight to 15 minutes cold drying time. Called the office and the call centre said she would try and get the engineer to return but would call. She did not call. Spoke to the office yesterday and they promised to call me back today by 1030. No call received. Called the office and apparently the same engineer is coming back today to try and rectify what he broke. I have 2 babies under the age of 2 and have been left without a tumble dryer for over a week. I did an on-line quotation and it was half the price of what they are charging me. Use this company at your own peril. THEY DON'T DESERVE ANY STARS
