“Another cancellation fee.....”

had to replace the old car and Halifax wanted 4x more than any other company to insure the new car. they then wanted £55 from me to do so!!!

Tip for anyone in that situation - Take out the policy at the higher price and then cancel it within 14 days (as your legally entitled to) thus avoiding a cancellation charge.
