“I pay the premium but staff won't discuss it with me!!!”

I set up home insurance for my daughter when she first moved into a flat and paid by credit card. When it came to renewal ,they charged my credit card without informing me: it took many phone calls being fobbed off by staff before someone (eventually apologised and resolved the problem). They were happy to take my money but wouldn't speak to me because it was my daughter's rented flat which was insured. i can't be the only parent who has been caught out like this...?
